A new diploma in Expedition & Wilderness Medicine has recently been launched by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. The International Postgraduate Diploma in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine is a university-accredited qualification in expedition and wilderness medicine for healthcare professionals.

Designed and directed by two of the editors of the international bestselling Oxford Handbook of Expedition and Wilderness Medicine - Dr Jon Dallimore and James Moore, this course is a must for any healthcare professional who is keen to participate or lead expeditions in challenging and extreme environments.

The course will focus on not only preparing you to work in expedition medicine, it will also use practical teaching on location in extreme environments. Taught by experienced expedition healthcare specialists, the course can be completed over 12 or 24 months.

Fees
The fee for the course will be £4,000 and is payable by the candidate on acceptance on the course.
