CASE Medicine's Dr Daniel Martin has recently written an article for The Royal College of Anesthetists (RCoA) Bulletin on his personal experience treating Ebola patients at the Royal Free Hospital in London. He talks about the rigorous procedural guidelines, the design of the High Level Isolation Unit, staff training and experience which contribute towards safeguarding to ensure that at no point is any member of staff placed at risk.
